It’s that time of the year: three days until the trade deadline. The hardcore hockey fan’s favorite part of the regular season where we discuss who’s going to be buyers and whose going to be sellers, what players are going to be on the move and whose staying put.
And it’s also that time of the year where we all play the role of general manager, and propose what we think each team should do. With that comes rumors taken too seriously, and one of those guys has been Flyers defenseman Matt Carle, whose contract expires after the season.
According to True Hockey’s Andy Strickland, Carle’s name is continuing to pop up around the water cooler, but it’s not because of a trade. Instead, Strickland is reporting that the Flyers and Carle are talking extension.
