The Blackhawks have acquired F Michal Frolik and G Alexander Salak from the Florida Panthers in exchange for Jack Skille, Hugh Jessiman, and David Pacan. The news was initially broke by Pierre LeBrun of ESPN and was later confirmed by TSN's Darren Dreger.

According to Kevin Allen of USA Today, the Predators have acquired F Mike Fisher from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for a first round and conditional pick.
New Jersey Devils
The Devils have worked out an AHL-level trade with the San Jose Sharks, according to Nick Kypreos. The Devils organization will receive D Jay Leach and F Steven Zalewski from the Worcester Sharks, the San Jose Sharks AHL affiliate, in exchange for Patrick Davis and Mike Swift. The trade was confirmed by McKenzie.
New York Islanders
Darren Dreger has reported that the Islanders have acquired G Al Montoya from the San Antonio Rampage, the Phoenix Coyotes AHL affiliate, in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick.
The Senators have acquired a first round and conditional draft pick from the Nashville Predators in exchange for Mike Fisher. Bob McKenzie of TSN reports that if the Predators win one round in this year's playoffs, the conditional pick will be a third-rounder. If the Predators win two or more rounds in the playoffs, the conditional pick will be a second-rounder.
Although there is no official time table for his return, the Penguins have announced today that Sidney Crosby is getting better and is expecting to play at some point this season.
David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period is reporting that Quebec City will soon begin building it's new NHL-size arena. Let the relocation rumors abound!
San Jose Sharks
In a minor league deal announced by Nick Kypreos, the Sharks have acquired forwards Patrick Davis and Mike Swift from the Albany Devils, the New Jersey Devils AHL affiliate. The trade was confirmed by McKenzie.
